Where your money goes
The Volunteer Programme is a vital part of ReefDoctor’s fundraising effort. Approximately 98% of your money goes directly to Madagascar. Your fee contributes to expedition activities and helping run our core research and management programmes in the Bay of Ranobe. Please note that UK staff members, including directors, are not paid nor is your money used for administration costs in the UK. Instead, a large proportion of your expedition fees, are used to support the local communities and economy through its contribution to local staff wages, purchasing locally sourced commodities (such as fuel, food and water etc), equipment and services, and the supporting of community development projects.
Volunteer’s monetary input is critical in keeping ReefDoctor’s day to day activities running to their full potential.
