Head Dive Officer
Neil, a PADI Master Instructor, joined the team as our Head Dive Officer in October 2017. After working as an engineer for 30 years, he decided to make a shift in his career and to dedicate himself to his passion: diving. He has been a PADI Instructor for 4 years and is NEBOSH Health and Safety trained. Neil can teach an impressive 15 specialities and owns a dive centre in the UK.
Zoe joined the team as PADI Instructor in October 2017. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Education and worked as a math teacher for 9 years. In her spare time, she was a PADI Divemaster and passed the PADI Instructor course last July. She can teach five specialities and is a passionate diver who will surely transmit her passion to her students. Alongside Neil, she is responsible for the diving operations and training.
Manjo is a local from the village of Ifaty and lives with his family just opposite the Reef Doctor camp. He has been with the team since 2009 and, alongside the dive officer, is in charge of the projects boats, and engine operations and maintenance. His exceptional knowledge of the ocean and the Bay of Ranobe ensures the safety of all diving operations.
Bostata is also from the village of Ifaty and joined us in 2015 as a second boat captain. He captains all of our science and dive training boat trips.
