Education Development Officer
Nathan joined our team in October 2018 to coordinate and develop our education initiatives in the Bay of Ranobe. He is an education professional with two years international experience working with youth to develop leadership skills in girls and boys through the utilisation of the FLAGE (Future Leaders Advancing Gender Equality) curriculum. Before he joined our team, he had been working as a Peace Corps Community Development Educator in Sirama, North Madagascar. He has a BSc degree in Sociology and a Masters of Leadership Studies with a concentration in Social Entrepreneurship. Nathan is leading and developing all aspects of our community education programme, which includes Junior Reef Doctors, Kids Club, the Reef Doctor School, and adult education.
Nurse & Health Educator
Aimé joined the team in March 2017. Originally from Toliara, he has a Bachelor’s degree in paramedical at INSFP (Institute of Training of Paramedicals) in Toliara. During his studies, he completed an internship at the Emergencies of the Tanila Toliara University Hospital, then worked as an intern at the CSB (Basic Health Centre) in Ifaty for 8 months, before joining Reef Doctor. Aimé works as a nurse at the CSB half of the time and the other half he organises awareness raising sessions on family planning, health and hygiene in the 13 villages of the Bay of Ranobe.
